Ebenezer Baptist Church lifts the Voices of the Community for Black History Month

Ajay Pittman, of District 99 celebrated Black History Month at Ebenezer Baptist Church. “Young people like me aren’t afraid to say ‘I am Black History’,” Rep. Pittman said. “We are leading now. Our voices are powerful now. But it is the wisdom of our elders that carries us through when we are trailblazing in these moments of despair, in these moments where we see what is happening in our country where history is kind of repeating itself. We have to know where we came from to know where we are going.”
